Well I got my RB67 some time ago, but thanks to a busted lens I haven’t gotten to use it too much – I need to borrow the university’s lens when I want to use it. I’ll have my own by the end of the month, but for now I figured I’d post some examples of makeshift panoramas I’d played around with.
To achieve this I simply used 35mm film in the 120 back. I’ll post some pictures of how to do this later as I’m at my parent’s place, but it’s not too hard to figure out.

So you’re basically just exposing a big long strip down the middle of the frame instead of the whole 6x7cm you get with medium format film. In this case I used the 50mm Sekor C lens, which is wide angle by medium format standards, to get more in the frame.
These are just negative scans, obviously, but the printable area (sans sprocket holes), is 68x24mm. This is an aspect ratio of 1:2.833~, and enlarging that’s about a 8×22″ print. you could cut a sheet of 16×20 down the middle to yield 8×20 and print on that. Really just a doubly long 8×10″ print – which seems fun. I’ll post my experience with printing when I get around to that, my home darkroom is in a bit of disarray and I can’t mooch the uni darkrooms right now.
