Projects, projects, and more projects

Time to narrow things down a bit, I’d say.

Glass plate camera: Step 0 [see previous posts]
Goal: Produce an image on glass, contact print
Required: Just some liquid light, currently. $70-$100.

Develop all my old film:
Really should be top priority, I cant learn from experience if I cant see what I’ve been doing.
Colour film: roughly a dozen rolls of colour neg; at $8-ish each, roughly $106. 2 rolls of colour slide, probably $25-$40. More in 120 format, but not too many. So $200 to get all my colour film done with.
Black and white: Lots. The shopping list for that is as follows:
-2x packets of Xtol
-1x 5ltr container, for the before mentioned Xtol
-50x pages of negative sleeves
-1x new folder
-probably about $100

Get my speed graphic off the ground:
Really it’s a lovely camera, it just doesn’t get used because I’m rubbish with the drop bed on the front – something that always interferes with the photo on the 90mm lens. I’d like to get a 150mm lens, and try to give it the use it deserves.
-150mm lens, probably $200

So damn, I’m looking at about $600 to get everything I want done. How depressing. That’s not even factoring in getting enough paper to print all this and get some results.
I’ll take it in bites over however long it takes…

Priority:
-Black and White Processing
-Colour Negative processing
-Medium format and slide processing
-Plate camera, step 0
-Speed Graphic
