PaRodinal (again): Part 2

Checked on the concoction this morning, it’s a pinkish colour – but my darkroom seemed to be about 9 degrees, and a portion of the PaRodinal mixture was frozen. I’ve transferred it to my bedroom. Chemical reactions are, of course, slowed down in the cold. I’ll keep an eye on it, but it seems fine.

Monday update
Checked it again this morning, it’s progressed to a light maroon-ish colour, seems fine. Still plenty of white sediment at the bottom, but that’s to be expected.

One Response to PaRodinal (again): Part 2

It’d be interesting to see how long the home brew lasts compared to the “real” stuff. A user in the Philippines has reported that his brew was still working fine after 6 months.
