Trigger winder get

trigger winder
$345 at Mainline Photo

Ok so I’ve been talking about it for a while, a trigger winder for my little Bessa R2A – since I got my 35/1.7 lens it’s been the only thing left on the shopping list for my rangefinder kit – apart from maybe a Bessa T and but we’ll leave that for another day. Anyway, with money from working over the winter – it arrived in the mail this morning, attached to the bottom of a nice olive Bessa R2.
The R2 is in need of a CLA – the rubber grip on the back has come off, but I’m not sure if I’ve decided to keep it or onsell it yet. Who knows. The curious things about it is the serial number – “0000330″, which is rather interesting. I’ve got it loaded with a roll of film and we’ll see how it performs with the Canon 50/1.8

Anyway, after playing around for a while I can say that the trigger winder is just amazing. It’s a brilliant design and very well made, solid and quick. It fits nicely onto the R2A and the sidegrip portion sits in your hand quite well. Another fun part of it is that it allows for your camera strap to be attached to two points on the side, so the camera hands vertically. That’s just rather neat.

I also got 20 rolls of Fujicolor Industrial 100iso film, and we’ll see how that plays out. I have my first colour printing class tomorrow, so it might yet come in handy.

All in all, new toys are fun.
